Trump arrives in Hanoi for 2nd US-N.Korea summit

Hanoi, US President Donald Trump arrived at the Noi Bai International Airport of Hanoi on Tuesday evening for the two-day second summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.

After disembarking from Air Force One, Trump shook hands with officials who were at the airport to greet him, before heading for hotel, Xinhua news agency reported.

Trump and Kim are scheduled to meet on Wednesday and Thursday.

Issues like a roadmap for denuclearisation, lifting of sanctions and a war-ending declaration would be the focal points of the summit.

During his stay, Trump will also meet Vietnamese President Nguyen Phu Trong and Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc on Wednesday, according to the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
