Pakistani authorities seize heroin

Islamabad,   The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) of Pakistan has foiled an attempt to smuggle drugs from the Multan International Airport, the media reported on Thursday.

The ANF personnel recovered 1.5 kg of heroin from a passenger who was on his way to the United Arab Emirates, reports Xinhua news agency.

The officials added that the passenger was carrying contraband in secret sections of his bag and officials recovered the drugs while checking at the gateway of the airport.
