No new corona positive case in Rajasthan, tally at 93

Jaisalmer: The Wellness Centre at Jaisalmer, an Indian Army facility to fight against COVID-19, where a total of 236 persons from Iran who have landed in Jaisalmer by two Air India flights today have been kept in isolation for a period of fourteen days. The Indian Army has set up Wellness Centres at various locations to provide a credible response to COVID-19.

Jaipur, (Samajweekly) No new coronavirus positive case has been reported on Wednesday till 9 a.m in Rajasthan, state health officials said.

Total positive cases in the state are 76 (including 2 Italians), while 17 evacuees from Iran have tested positive making the overall cumulative positive number stand at 93, said Rohit Kumar Singh, Additional Chief Secretary, Health, Rajasthan.

Even on Tuesday night, no new case was reported which brings a little relief for officials.

Bhilwara, meanwhile still remains on top with 26 cases, with Jaipur on second number with 21 cases.

Jodhpur had 17 evacuees from Iran, out of which seven tested positive, Ajmer has five, Jhunjhunu has 8, Pali, Sikar, and Churu have one each, Dungarpur has three, Pratapgarh has two cases of COVID-19, said officials.
