(Samajweekly) The Arvind Kejriwal-led Delhi government would extend all possible help to the farmers, who were protesting in the national capital against the three black laws on agriculture, enacted by the Modi government at the Centre.

The AAP leader and MLA on Saturday said that the Kejriwal government was committed to take care of the farmers wherever they would be protesting for their legitimate rights in Delhi, said Raghav Chadha. This was announced after a marathon meet held today.
Raghav Chadha said that the Arvind Kejriwal government would do its utmost best to protect the democratic rights of the farmers during the ongoing struggle, adding that the farmer was the benefactor of the country and any injustice meted out to him would not be tolerated in any way.
Chadha said that the Delhi government had already put in place arrangements to provide drinking ‘langar’ (community), drinking water, electricity, makeshift toilets, medicines and other commodities of daily use at the Burari ground where they were currently camping.
The Delhi MLA said that the Aam Aadmi Party would support each and every decision of the farmers and would stand shoulder to shoulder with them, especially in this hour of distress.
AAP leader and co-president of the state Youth Wing Anmol Gagan Mann expressed her gratitude to the Arvind Kejriwal government and said “We the people of Punjab, especially the farmers, will always be indebted to chief minister Arvind Kejriwal for holding the hands of Punjab farmers in this hour strife when the state and Central governments were running away show this gesture”
She said that the Modi government should feel the concerns about the farmers core issues and concerns, and resolve them, shedding its egoist stance towards the country’s ‘anaadaata’, thrashing out a lasting solution to the agrarian crisis.
She also slammed the Khattar-led BJP government in Haryana, which resorted to all repressive measures to stop the agitating farmers from proceeding to Delhi to hold their protest, saying the people of Punjab would not forget this gross injustice.
