Jordan stuns Australia in Asian Cup

Al Ain (UAE),  Jordan shocked defending champions Australia 1-0 in the 2019 AFC Asian Cup Group B opener here on Sunday.

It was Jordan defender Anas Bani Yaseen who netted the winner in the 26th minute with a header from inside the area off a cross by teammate Salem Al-Ajalin, reports Efe.

Australia, who is the 2015 champion and 2011 runner-up, is in the fourth and last spot in the table with no points in its pocket.
