In Conversation with Guru Prabhakar Dhakade

(Samaj Weekly)- Guru Prabhakar Dhakade is one of India’s well known violinists. He is based in Nagpur and has devoted his life for the Hindustani classical music. A number of his disciples have now been part of Hindi cinema world in Mumbai. He has performed live in various parts of the country as well as abroad.

This conversation was recorded several years back at his residence and music school in Nagpur where he spoke candidly about issues he faced. A believer in Dr Ambedkar’s philosophy, Shri Prabhakar narrate the problems he faced yet he was determined to achieve his goal.

He wish if the writings of Dr Ambedkar, Jyoti Ba Phule and other legends of Bahujan Samaj is available on Brail to make things easier for them.
