First session of new Haryana assembly on November 4

Chandigarh, Haryana will hold the first session of the new assembly on November 4.

This was decided by the cabinet at its first meeting held in New Delhi on Tuesday.

The Cabinet expansion is likely after the assembly session, officials said.

In a post-poll alliance, the Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) has extended support to the BJP, which won 40 seats, six short of the majority mark in the 90-member house.
