CRPF DG meets Home Secretary

New Delhi,  Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Director General R.R. Bhatnagar on Monday met Union Home Secretary Rajiv Gauba and is understood to have discussed security situation in Jammu and Kashmir in the wake of Pulwama terror attack that killed 40 CRPF troopers.

The meeting also comes in the wake of gun battle between security forces and Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorists in Pulwama in which nine people including three terrorists and five security personnel were killed. A senior police officer and three Army officers were among the injured.

The killed terrorists included two Pakistanis, including one who plotted the suicide bombing on a CRPF convoy on February 14.
