The district Collector Mr Kandasamy awarded a lady inspector Mrs Allirani, who carried a person, died of Covid while his near and dear ones refused to come near his body.
After awarding the lady inspector, the Collector requested her to stand in his place, he came down the dias several steps and *Saluted her*
It was not just a mere salute .., he was saluting her almost 20 secs….

This happened at Independence Day celebrations in TN's Tiruvannamalai district. The district Collector Mr Kandasamy awarded a lady inspector Mrs Allirani, who carried a person, died of Covid while his near and dear ones refused to come near his body.
