Amritsar records 0.4 degrees as cold wave continues in Punjab, Haryana

Chandigarh, Amritsar city recorded a low of 0.4 degrees Celsius on Tuesday as cold wave conditions prevailed across the plains of Punjab and Haryana in the past 24 hours.

The minimum temperatures were one to five degrees below normal at most places.

Narnaul and Hisar in Haryana recorded lows of 2.5 and 2.8 degrees Celsius respectively.

Chandigarh recorded a minimum temperature of 5.5 degrees. The maximum temperature here was 19.7 degrees.

Maximum temperatures at most places in Punjab and Haryana hovered between 17 and 22 degrees. Ludhiana in Punjab recorded a low of 2.8 degrees.
