Abu Dhabi/Beijing, Abu Dhabi’s Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan will make a state visit to China next week.

The Crown Prince made the announcement on his official Twitter account on Thursday.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lu Kang said that Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed will be visiting China from July 21 to 23 at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping, according to Xinhua news agency.

During the visit, the Crown Prince and Xi will review the comprehensive strategic cooperation between the two countries across various sectors, in addition to regional and international issues of common concern, Gulf News reported.

The Crown Prince will be accompanied by a high-ranking delegation comprising a number of Sheikhs, ministers and senior officials.

His visit comes three months after Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Ruler of Dubai, visited China to attend Beijing’s Belt and Road conference in April.
