2 killed in Karachi explosion

Islamabad,   At least two people were killed and five others were injured in a cylinder blast on Saturday in Pakistan’s port city of Karachi.

The blast took place in a building in Karachi’s Shershah vicinity. Two died on the spot due to the impact of the explosion and those injured were shifted to a hospital, Geo News reported.

Two of the injured were said to be in critical condition. A probe was ordered into the incident to ascertain the cause of the explosion, said the police.

Several vehicles parked in the vicinity of the building were also damaged in the incident.
