गुजरात के कछ के बचाऊ कस्बे के पास रहने वाले जग्गा भाई सोलंकी ने शम्शान की जमीन को लेकर चार साल लडाई लडी और उंनके छॉटे भाई की मौत पर दफ्नाने के लिये जगह नही थी क्योंकि दबंग जाति के एक व्यक्ति ने शम्शान की जमीन पर भी एक घर बंनवा दिया. लेकिन जग्गा भाई की ने अंततः लडाई जीती. इस साल 14 अक्टटुबर को उन्होने 112 अन्य लोगॉ के साथ बौध धम्म ग्रहण किया.. सुनिये जग्गा भाई की प्रेरणादायक कहानी और कैसे गाव के गरीब बेसहारा लोगो के जीवन मे बाबा साहेब के जीवन संघर्श ने एक बद्लाव की नयी दिशा तैय्यार की.
This is my interview with Jagga Bhai Solanki ji who fought for the burial rights of his community in a land which was grabbed by Patel community person. Despite all protests, nothing moved but Jagga Bhai and villagers fought. His own brother died and they did not have a place to bury him. This is the story of Gujarat model and India’s hidden aparthied too where Dalits dont get even a piece of land for burial. Jaga Bhai, embraced Buddhism on 14th October 2019 in Bhuj along with 112 other Dalits of Kutch and feel that it is important that Dalit embrace it and change their lives.
